RETOucH - HS researches and develops products that target a wide range of medical problems including rehabilitation, musculoskeletal and orthopedic disorders. One of these products is this fully functional soft robotic hand exoskeleton system equipped with innovative air-pressurized soft actuators.
The soft actuators were 3D printed using the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH)'s 3D Systems Corporation's PROJET MJP5600 and Sinterit LISA. The control glove copies the motion of the healthy hand and passes the finger configuration to the exoskeleton applied on the affected hand, with real-time monitoring.
Congratulations to Nikolaos Kladovasilakis, Giannis Kostavelis, Paschalis Sideridis, Eleni Koltzi, Costas Piliounis, Dimitrios Tzetzis, and Dimitrios Tzovaras!
We are thrilled to see “our” 3D printers used in such innovative ventures!
