Το Selective Laser Melting (SLM) αποτελεί μία από τις πιο διαδεδομένες τεχνολογίες 3D Εκτύπωσης Μετάλλου για την κατασκευή μεταλλικών εξαρτημάτων υψηλής ποιότητας. Είναι κατάλληλη για εφαρμογές που εκτείνονται από τη πρωτοτυποποίηση έως τη παραγωγή παρτίδων και τη βιομηχανική παραγωγή. Η τεχνολογία SLM υποστηρίζει ένα ευρύ φάσμα μεταλλικών υλικών, όπως κράματα ατσαλιού, νικελίου, χρωμιοκοβάλτιο, αλουμίνιο, τιτάνιο, κα.
